 Africa Sustainable Livestock 2050

 In February 2017, The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries partnered with USAID and FAO to organize the first Africa Sustainable Livestock 2050 Technical Consultation in Addis Ababa. The meeting brought together representatives from government, academia, research institutes, private sector, non-government agencies and development institutions from across Africa.  This report synthesizes the various sessions of the workshop.

Compact 2025 Ethiopia: Ending Hunger and Under Nutrition, Challenges and Opportunities

This IFPRI scoping report was prepared to inform the Compact 2025 roundtable discussion by providing an overview of the food security and nutrition challenges and opportunities in Ethiopia. It reviews the current food security and nutrition policy landscape across key sectors and actors in Ethiopia and identifies critical knowledge, policy, and implementation gaps. Additionally, the scoping report presents a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) that crystallizes the main elements that drive or hamper food security and nutrition in the country.
